Man, this was a really tough one to think of because there are so many ideas to come up with!

Basically for this idea, I was going to recreate a very memorable moment from Gold/Silver/Crystal, where you meet Red in Mt Silver. It's one of my most fondest moments in my most favourite game ever!

It'll be on top of the mountain, and frozen during the middle of the battle. All the Pok

    Charizard wip. Blocked out textures.
    I think based on the time I have for this project + work, I have a feeling I may not get all the Pokemon I want >.< but I will try my best!

    Another wip of the trainers. Onwards to texturing and building the environment.
    Definitely gonna go for a more pixel arty type textures.

    Uh! This looks promising!
    I'll keep an eye on this. The blockout looks good so far, I really love Charizards pose.
    I loved the moment you encontered Red on that mountain... with his lvl 80 Pikachu! Ha ha!

    Not finished yet, but almost done. Not happy with eyes (or face) so will revisit.
    Otherwise will move onto Red next.

    So i would say the texture is about 80% done on Red (bag is done though. 100 Tris exactly!)
    Trousers look crap and shirt needs a bit of work, and arms left..

    Hoping to get Charizard/Pikachu and Lugia textured by tomorrow evening so I have the whole weekend to work on the environment. Cutting it thin >.<

    Ok.. next get in Lugia and Charizard, then tweak textures of Dawn and Red, then a weekend of environments..

    I'd recommend you to do some gradients on the characters and to remove those darker parts on reds shirt, they look weird to my, I think they are supposed to be folds/shadows but they don't look like that.

    Aye absolutely. The clothing in general is a rough state.
    When you say gradient, do you mean to the clothing, or the character in general?

    Both. If the character in generell has a gradient it a really helps for the overall feeling, since the top will (through the sun or other lightsources) always see more light then everything futher down.

    But maybe even withing the cloth there could be some slight gradients or at least color variants. But before thinking of that, I'd finish the overall scene and if time is left take a step back and push the textures.

    Ok, so the current situation is that I have an environment and beauty shot blocked out -

    I am to get some clouds in, which I have quickly roughed out here -

    Then I will have the following to do -
    -Add in Pokeballs (Red with a Standard one, Dawn with a Masterball)

    Finished texturing -
    Dawn
    Red
    Lugia
    Charizard

    And then if I have time I will go back and try to improve the mountain, because I don't particularly like the textures. Might simplify them.

    Finally, will try to add some flame shooting out of Charizard, and a aeroblast beam thing shooting out of Lugia, and try to fake some shadows.

    12 hours to go! Time for some coffee.

    My environment sucks.. and I ran out of textures, so I couldn't apply alpha to Red and Charizard >.<
    Will need to amend that once I've had sleep..
