Hi everybody! Have been busy with uni and working on these 2 pieces, please tell me what you think. purpose is to have them in my portfolio, just hope they both look good enough. will move on to some evironment scene projects after this is finished using UDK/CE3(havent decided yet).


Software used: zbrush maya xnormal, DDO(tested the software), photoshop, topogun
Render: Marmoset toolbag

    The flintlock is looking decent dude, however Jack could use some love. It could be the focal length but his arms are looking ridiculously long. The folds on his arms don't seem to make sense, try having up references of the type of fabric you are trying to sculpt it'll help you in the long run. Also his facial anatomy needs some work as well try taking a step back and having up some references. The more reference you have the better.

    Not really sure if they are to long can be the focal length, I used refrences both for anatomy and the face so i wounder, could it possibly be that the retopology on the arms have to few Polys? noticed that the arms lookes much better in zbrush, not sure though could be a wild thought. see yourself :)

    Also could you perhaps pinpoint what could be better with the face, no doubt that something is missing but cant figgure what exacly. thx alot :)
