Finals!
New thread for new armour!
Doing a more forest theme for this one. Maple skirts with fox tails, I'm going for a spring time colour scheme to match her green and gold armour colour pallet.
Here's hoping I can pull it off!
Here's what I have so far from the original mock up

High poly update! Got everything done except the hat. Going to bust that out tomorrow morning, then retopo *groan*

Hm, I think those horns look odd. Perhaps change them so they don't have the odd fusion thing going on?

Oh nice! Do you think you'll be able to squeeze a third set in?
I like everything you have so far, not to hot for the horns and the big medallion on her chest though.
The horns feel weird starting on either side and merging to the center, and the medallion feels strange just sitting on her chest by itself, a big circular piece on top of this organic looking top.

having to many great idears that you're making more sets? xP
well, i'm liking it so far, now the difficulty will be to make it look different enough from your other set, but that'll manly depend on the texturing I think

All right! Thanks for the feeback!
I agree on the horns thing, so I converted back into a unicorn for now. Should I do the cute small horn or the massive epic horn like before?
The medallion... I see your point Shrew81. I'm hoping the clasp reads well but I'm not even sure I'll have enough tris to put it in there and might have to cut it. We shall see when retopo comes along.
Shanks37: I know! But I wanted this one to be more foresty. hence the leaves. (Plus sculpting fur is harder) haha I'm so lazy
LuCh!: Omg so many ideas! If I have time after this and the weapons I'm going to try and bust out one for naga siren. Got some ideas to do a lionfish themed Julie Bell mermaid outfit on her. haha.
I'll definitely keep the colours in mind for this one to help make it not look like the last set! Thanks :3
All right small update. Hair was a total mess until 5 minutes ago when I flattened it all out and went with a layered look. It totally looked like a super sayan for so long. It was really annoying to look right. I still haven't nailed the look I'm going for but it's going more towards the right direction I think.

Well Enchantress is supposed to be cute and bubbly, so a pair of small cute horns might work for her.

loving the design, i kinda wish the sleeve was on both sides though and let the shoulder do the asymmetry for the piece

Okies got the low baked down with all the maps (save point light map) I even baked over the poly paint from zbrush for fun.
Lots still to clean-up but its like 37C here at 10:30am so this is all I can muster this morning. Argh!

For fun I did a compilation of all the parts in game to see how it looked.
I'll get stuck into texturing tomorrow

Love the high poly and the polypaint, just wonder if the colours look a little bit to desaturated ingame? (I don't really know the character, but the weapon looks to have a bit more saturation in it.) Anyway its looking cool!

Yeah I totally hear you! The good thing is I can tweak the colours really easily so if they need more saturations on some areas I can do that Thanks for pointing that out!
Okay got a little bit of texturing done. Let me know what you think of these colours.

It's actually good that you got rid of the color in the heart. Fits better with her other clothes.

Looking awesome. I'm not crazy about the hard color transitions in the hair and the tails on her belt armor. Maybe if it were a little closer to the way her deer torso fur looks. Overall great job.

Thanks! Yup, they were just block outs, I smoothed them a bit more as I progressed.
Okay I'm almost done for the first pass before tight polish. I changed up the colours on the leaves and that made SO MUCH difference! The only issue I have is with the fur at the front.. the red just bleeds into the body colour and I'm lost as to what colour to use.
So some colour theory help on that would be SO HELPFUL!
I'm going to reduce the white in her hair some more... I'm not liking the overbearingness of it now that I look at it.

Maybe you could go with a darker and less saturated color. Like a warm grey perhaps. Something that makes it feel like not part of her own fur.
Personally, I think keeping the leaves more green would help them stand out more. The way they gradate to warm colors kind of makes it blend with her fur. Can you change the color of her skin and fur?
Maybe those heart amulets could be carved from wood. Would be a nice way to add some chunky grain details that would also feel more one with nature and all that.

Awesome, glad to see that you are doing another outfit set! And you are speedy too.. all of that in 5 days! For the head-piece I rather liked one of the original colorations where the edges of the leaves were green. That way, the leaves have more contrast against her brown hair/fur.
