Decided to start working on something, after some pondering and History Channel inspiration of English Castles an idea was born. It came in the form of Rocks, Castle and Snow.

Here is the block out I am playing around with now. With open arms to polycounter input of course. Right now I got the castle blockout along with the rocks. Not sure of the camera angle as of yet, in further out more. Other thought I had was pull the camera out more and maybe do a White Cliffs of Dover thing, with the ocean bellow in a snow storm. Only problem I have with that is pulling away a lot of detail from the castle which is inspired off of Stokesay Castle.

Small update, have not got much time outside of the everyday grind to work as much as I would of liked. However I started detailing in the windows and adding the wood trim.

Will this be modular? Modular is the way to go with fantasy stuffs! Also are you putting it in an engine?

Parts of it are modular yes. I have not full decided if I am going to take a tiled texture approach on the main structure. Or if I am going to sculpt out every brick.

It's going in engine yes UDK
