Fishmen/merfolk is not that crazy of an idea. Here's the guys that count and are available:
Naga
Slark
Slardar
Tidehunter
It's a good selection of under appreciated heroes and there's an inherent theme for those that want themes. We could use this format for future months as well by just changing the types of heroes to demons or whatever.
I think it's a great idea. It's very similar to the idea we proposed a couple months ago (right when we got lots of new broken down heroes), where we service heroes that don't get much attention, this is similar but specifically fish themed. I think it could work well.

At first i was "omg, another april fools joke" but makes sense now. And also those heroes, as Bounch said, are not receving much items these days
based on this and the other comments i think we have our next month theme =]

@multitud3 MagnoHusein is right, game is hard for custom things so be sure if you really need it. If yes, DO YOUR BEST! and good luck =]
done the new month contest guys! sorry for the delay
@Tvidotto: Thanks for the reminder. Yes, it is the final. But I overlooked the point of the rules that said the item has to be submitted to the workshop first. I'm part of a team and we wanted to release the item in a collection together with other items and unfortunately the others were not done in time and still are not. So, sadly I can't participate this time. But I'm sure I will try again, probably in #15 or #16.
We had some issues on the voting this month and i had a sad news, the winner on the voting broke one of the main rules about posting the work in progress and the submition was considered unacceptable for the contest. I've discussed a lot with other mods about it and i think we got to the most fair decision.
The entrie that was the most voted but lacked the work in progress was the Soaring Vengeance by Yuri and KAaS
Shard of the broken sword that placed at third place was also considered breaking the rules. It was made by Nikey and KAaS
Judges BrontoThunder - winner of the last month contest
Steffen Unger - winners of several months in the past
Motenai - well known workshop artists Winners

We are planning some rework on the layout
But fishmen is the theme, it will not change
Cool, I'll start drawing some concepts.
You can, however you need to compile it manually. But be aware, Valve isn't a big fan of this kind of thing nowdays. :shifty:
