[Riot Art Contest] - Lulu

So I'm going to try my hand at a 3d model of Lulu, just really like the design and the proportions. I'll be doing my own skin though.
The idea will be a Beetle Mage Lulu. Should be fun to incorporate the beetle theme to her hat, hair, staff and familiar. That and the beetle shell should be lots of fun to color with the quite range of colors they have.

Here is a very rough blockout of what I plan to do with the model, probably won't do too many gif turnarounds so the page doesn't get too laggy but I think it's a decent start will probably do a paintover next of different angles to finalize the design more, plan colors, etc.
And here is a sketch over of the front for a better idea of how to go further.
Still a bit of detail I'll need to figure out, smaller details will be painted in rather than baked I think and the hair is definately placeholder until I sculpt some decent looking braids.
