At the moment he's looking a little short and wide. Glad to see you are going for that design. It'll make a really nice edition to your portfolio. Good luck!

I know its not in the design, but I get a very root like feel from the feet. I wonder if it would benefit from a more 'werewolf' or animal style of legs. Thats just a issue with the concept though, not your sculpt.

Thanks everyone,
you are right and it seems abvious now , he is way to short

For the feet, i had the exact same feeling while sculpting and tought about using the one on the other design beside but finally decided to keep them like on the original concept.

ill post some update soon!

thanks again!!

Those tendons are interesting from a design point of view, but they're going to really restrict how much he can move his arms. Might be worth considering repositioning the rear one or removing it entirely. As he is he'd probably struggle to put on his pants.

@Jackablade maybe thats why he wear a skirt haha! I fully agree with you and thats what they also mention in thae book. i think its supose to be a elastic piece of flesh. Pretty cool silouhette wise but weird to move.
but since its only gonne be a sculpt and i dont plan to animate it , i decided to keep it for the silouhette.
thanks alot for the comment!

so heres a little update, started to define the skin and face + fixed the height

Ok did a bit of refining here and there, decided to design some weapon instead of the simple wood stick. Decided to go with some kind of Naginata http://vampirewarzone.yolasite.com/r...i_naginata.jpg
to match the cloth that look a little bit like what samourai wear . the blade would be something like shepard ''laser sword''

let me know what you think about it !

I feel like the details in his clothes are washed out. I don't know if that's a texture thing or what but that is really the only thing that stands out to me, I don't care for the wood mixed with the sci-fi of the staff, but that's just a personal opinion.

The model is well done and you stayed true to the concept. Good job.

The sculpt is awesome, but your textures are really lacking. The skin texture in the concept is pretty plain but I think you could do more with it without straying from the concept. Same goes for the clothes.

Looking awesome but you can still push those textures further! The concept has much more tonal changes than you do now. The hooves can be darker for instance. Parts of the arms get darker in the forearm while the skin attachment on the upper arm is lighter colored. The chest and belly can also be lightened compared to the other areas of the body. The skin itself can also be more textured, give some details like sun damage and general wear. These are the details that will really help sell this piece. Don't be afraid to push it because the texture can be even more important than the model. Good luck man!

Great effort so far but I still see that you can push it even further, I did a crappy paintover with some changes that can help define the shapes as well as add detail and interest in the texture.
