Not my best piece but here is a pillar I have recently made, of which I'm not happy with the texturing. any advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You could post the high poly as well. Do you know how to do a spec or roughness map? How are you displaying this? In what program are you showing it?

I definitely recommend layering an AO pass over your diffuse, you could use more shadows under the top part of your pillar
