So the combined map in this image pretty much follows Lennyagony's guide. You bake out a Prtn and Prtp map, and desaturate these images. Prtn on bottom with PrtP on top set to screen at 75-85% opacity depending on your needs. Then just the Green channel is copied out of the bent normal baked out. This is set to soft light at a very low opacity, something like 5-15%. Then your baked cavity map set to overlay at 100% opacity,then the cavity map made form the xNormal filter set to overlay at 100%. If you notice this is where the white highlights will come from, so play with the filter for different results. Then the AO is last set to multiply at 100% opacity. You can play with adding more layers with different blending modes, but this will kick the shit out of just an AO. Now depending on my model I either use this turbo combo and multiply it on top of my colors, and have several adjustment layers, and paint layers between these, then a final paint over layer where you can really push the white highlights, or I use the colors on top of the Prt group like Lenny's guide, but still tons of adjustments, and paint overs. The other option would be to bake out a point light map. Me personally I use this method because my pc is too wood to bake a good point light map from my highpoly, so I use my xNormal bakes to their fullest.

Thanks! Just don't give up, be willing to learn and always push your self.My first workshop submission was Sep 3, 2012, so it has been a long journey to this point

Thanks a bunch! I am really happy that I can finally represent Polycount and pay them back some listing them as a partner. It is also really cool to be the first Gyro items added to the game!

Moving on! One of the things I am working on is a set for Legion made with mostly Mode SE... mostly. My goal is to show quality dota assets can be achieved with this very affordable complete 3d package. Just made the base mesh tonight, I am going to dive into the sculpting tools tomorrow night

After a hiatus due to a health concern it is back to crafting wares for my workshop! this has been a long time coming with Potm, lots more to do, some finishing, some polishing, making other stuffs for it... but progress!

Looks pretty good, but I'm wondering if the blue spike might be best gold.
It's only really visible from the side.

yeah I did have it gold, but it seems too out of place then, but I can try again, and maybe I will try purple when I get home

Well the gold does make it look better, it also shows how it is just an extra piece shoved in there :poly136: but it is not really noticeable in-game

I like the blu/purpl best, with the trim it seems more ornamental than real bone, so the color is fine.

The new one isn't bad but nothing in the set has that so...

Yeah, I like the blue one a bit more. Maybe do an inverted color scheme as an alternate style? As in, make the blue parts gold and the gold parts blue. Also, you could try adding some sort of color gradient on the bracers, they look a bit simple right now. Maybe some of this dark purple on one of the tips? I really like the hair though! Specially the back.

Thanks man! There was some purple in the arm pieces, so I just dialed it up! I might try some purple on the big yellow horn. Just did the tail also, gonna grab some in game stuffs quick too.

Still adding some promos and stuff, but after much delay the CM set I worked on with Potm is done, and the debut of a co-worker of mine Hoygeit!
