@elwing- you could try making the fiery simbol in the middle in 2 colors. the circle area a Intense red-gold, and the exterior of it a brownish-gold. i think a bit of contrast on that side might complement the design. just my thoughts
Mihalceanu: I really like the crown but it looks bad that its just a helmet and doesn't cover his back like Baddcog suggests. The default hood covers all that up and I wish you would have done something similar.
Mugen: Looks interesting, definitely a unique head item for PA.

I finally decided on one. Something i wanted to do but had to choose a style as there is a similar item already. So I decided to do a reverse and keep the circular flow of the juju going.

@Aitnar Have you thought about making it similar to the silence icon instead of a frown? Like what she has for her Silence spell icon or the one that pops up over heroes heads. The colors you used just reminds me of silence for some reason.

@Baddcog Thanks for the tip, I was actually thinking about that before the concept. It just didn't look like Frankenstein enough, known for the square head and all that. It'll help with poly budget as well, considering the bolts will be ~82 triangles, so I'll only have ~220 for the hair, I'd like to keep the sharp hair edges as well.

I wasn't entirely likely the direction the mask was going in and I think it would take more iteration to get it right. I scrapped the idea and started from scratch. After some research this is the concept outline I came up with.

I made a concept for a Bloodseeker helm earlier this week and I just finished the low poly topography. Still early but I hope to get some feed back as I start the high poly and normal map.
@RNGesus.is.Love; Love the concept and that it stands apart from the other doom helms! Only thing would be some more red maybe? Perhaps as a tint to the darker metal color? Paint chips? I dunno it's badass either way!
@Sylei;I thought this would look cheesy but the renders are amazing! Color choice is absolutely perfect and I love the tie in to the immortal item.

Also, holy crap! A word of warning to anyone doing warlock pieces, his portrait pose is terrible if you are binding the head piece to anything other than just Head_0. Especially bad if you bind to the clavicles as he shrugs his shoulders super hard and turtles his head in for the pose. The default shoulder is 35%bound to the shoulder pad bones and they don't shrug with the pose so your item will lift up but the mesh won't come up to meet it.
I'd just like to get some practice and learn. I know I missed like half the month.. but I'd like to maybe start something and see if I can finish.
Of course! Trust me, I'm pretty noob too, I just started modeling in august and didn't even get to do the months since then. You're totally welcome here

idk i went a little overboard with the glowy effects, i'm stil not good at art quite yet. i do think this image is a little flat, and i feel like if it were made into a model it could easily fit, say, shadow fiend.
I might try it for him first, and see what happens from there.
@Hawt; Increase the size of the head. Also, how will you handle his eye particles? Let it come out from his mouth? Could work!
it's already nearly bigger than his default head, the horns are smaller but similar to his default t,he smaller horns probably give the impression that it's smaller overall.
I'm a big fan of Svens default helmet so I didn't want it to stray too far, just make it a bit spookier.
Going to use this as a first attempt at particles.
Also, I omitted the eyes from the design as it was too close to our beloved green tooth.
Plus this gives me an opportunity to work with particles.
