It depends on the match (of CTF). If you're playing against a team that doesn't understand that they NEED to defend their flag, you'll get a huge rush of runners, and I found it to be too much to fend off by myself (even with mines). That IFV drop is still my favorite thing, even though I don't do it much. The sounds, and the dropping motion, are just epic.

That's happened a lot to my friend and I. People want those flag captures so they teamkill to get it. I'd be riding back on a Dirtbike and some asshole in a tank kills me feet from our flag base just to step out and cap himself.

Again, I think the biggest problem with Battlefield 3, are the people playing it. That kind of douchebaggery, combined with using the 'easy' weapons, people not working as a team, and the instant 'we lost all objectives, so I need to snipe now', all combine to make or break a match. Last night, we jumped between 4 servers, and did not have a decent round (for the reasons stated above), before I got off for the night.

Caught a glitcher playing Metro last night. It was a Top 5 player on the Global PC Leaderboards. I wonder how he got there... Here's the thread:

Why the **** can Origin not sort itself out with syncing... every time my net goes down I try to get through the SP... and EVERY TIME it comes back the cloud sync wipes my goddamn save. WHY WOULD IT DO THAT, just leave something there if it's more than what is on the cloud! It gives you some overwrite or not option, but still manages to delete saves not made directly to the cloud. Infuriating.

That's actually an old glitch, that is supposedly fixed. I haven't tried it though.
