WIP SNAKE from PEACE WALKER

Whats good polycount?

First time poster,

Been working on a younger version of SNAKE from PEACE KEEPER series since the summer. I come from a film modeling background so finishing up the high poly was pretty straight forward however I am stuck at the low poly phase, just wondering if you guys could give me some tips concerning where to save polys? I am still working on the low poly hair, eyelashes, teeth.

    Hmm, well modeling the straps into the body might be good. Will save polys and make sure stuff isn't clipping through the body when animated. Other than that it looks pretty solid, topology around the shoulder/arms might be a little bit weird. Guess it will only be noticable if the character ever lifts his arms high.
