Creative Assembly - Graduate Art Contest

Are you a graduate games artist in the UK looking for their big break in the industry? Then read on…

Creative Assembly are delighted to announce their inaugural UK graduate art contest. We are searching for star character and environment artists of the future, so will be offering the winner a 6 month PAID INTERNSHIP at our studio in Horsham, UK. The winning entrant will be working on AAA titles, and being mentored by some of the top professionals in the industry. As well as this awesome opportunity, you’ll receive some fabulous hardware prizes and Creative Assembly related goodies. The runners up will also receive some fantastic prizes. The winner and runners up will be announced and prizes awarded at London’s EGX games show on Saturday the 27th of September 2014.

So, how do I get in on this action?

It’s simple. Depending on your field – Character or Environment – we’d like you to create either a hi-res or game ready model (it’s up to you) of the following:
  • Character – A famous historical general or military leader
  • Environment – A historical period building or siege engine
As history buffs, we’ll be looking for accuracy, but we also appreciate creativity, so get those juices flowing and show us what you can do.

Finished! Now what do I do?

Once you’ve created your awesome piece of art, you’ll need to show it to us. Hit the link below and fill in your details, being careful to include the link to your artwork.
