Cyclical History of the Earth

Hey hey,

This is a project I did for my last class at a fine art school. I told my teacher that I wanted to start learning some basic 3D while I worked on my final project, but her main desire was that I made it fit into a postmodern/whatever we are now art context conceptually.

So this isn't really about if things are modeled/textured correctly per say. This is more about the composition being appealing, and getting across the idea that human history is rather cyclical. *Edit* I'm kind of curious how people feel about the balance of values?

Also you're going to notice that it's pretty heavily inspired by Adam Bromell's Canabalt Diorama, which can be found on the VG Remix Thread. (Hopefully he's more flattered than irked if he ever sees this, haha.)

Also it's going to be put in a gallery on a computer(the viewer will be able have access to the same model viewer you're using to view it) with a variety of things like paintings, video work, etc.

Thanks for checking it out! First post in here, scary!
