I'm working on a Halo 3 Battle Rifle, I'm trying to make it more exciting that the vanilla but not that much different. It's not first person, it's a prop, but I still want it to look somewhat okay, I'm about 2 1/2 hours now, I'd really like to get that face pad thing to be more like in the ref, tighter at the top but it's proving difficult.
I also am struggling with the barrel. Just the whole rifle. I feel like it's a pretty terrible model, not my best work, but I would love some feedback please.

I just realized the shape of the back and the top is more round in some parts and tapers, so here.
