decal problem

need help you guys

using june 11 udk build

whenever i try to build lighting (lightmass high), this problem comes up with some of my decals:

WTF? why the checker underneath?

any help would be appreciated :D

    are you using any reflections? (also i dont really think it makes a difference to put lightmass at high)

    solved the problem this morning... reimported my skydome, and set the decals to "accept lighting" (they had always been accepting it, weirdly enough they weren't now. probably something related to the june update :S)

    as regards the lightmass on high, indeed, theres not much difference... matter of fact, im using only medium settings as of now.
