Hey people!

My name is Yvo and I am a 3D artist student from the Netherlands.

Recently I started this project to practice with Substance Painter & Substance Designer. I really enjoyed working on this Bobcat.

Please feel free to post feedback. This will be very usefull and welcome.

Maybe I'll add a chainsaw attachment just for fun :P

Have a nice day.

you should do a high poly bake to fully utilize painter.
ALSO no need to put up 4096 images to a website.

hey man, great start.....i really feel that you dont need a tie your dirt and grim layer to your normal maps.....it makes it feel like some has shot it with a shot gun peppering the metal with what looks like gouges. If that was the look and feel you were going for then you need almost more supporting texture detail.

but if this is just dirty i feel it is missing an overall dirt layer from like dust and what not....the way it stands now its not very coherent

did you model it as well?

@cglewis hey thanks for your feedback. Yeah I'm trying to learning a good pipeline for SP. I did the model and texturing myself. I am going to try to make a better one with a different technique.
