stretching texture on narrow corner

Hello guys,

just experienced this, the texture in ue4 stretching at the narrow corner, no matter how i fix the uv and triangulation,

it happened to my friends as well and no one knows why
maybe someone here experienced the same

is it a custom mesh? did you check the uvs? it looks like you simply didn't unfold this face and therefore it's stretching one line of pixels over the whole face

Also, what does that geometry look like? If that's one really long triangle it's possible that on export the triangulation got flipped from what you were seeing in your modelling program, which could end up screwing your UVs.

Hello,

Yes its a static mesh, i checked the UV and nothing unfold there, i also try to change the triangulation and it just change the stretching direction.

how do your uvs look in your your 3d app of choice and how does it look with a unwrao checker applied?

Maybe the uv's is passing the 0-1 UV space and UE4 is set by default to repeat the last column of pixel when this happens ?
