THORS eLearning Solutions is looking for a 3D/2D Animator/Illustrator for a full time position to create technical animations and illustrations for the manufacturing industry. These technical animations and illustrations range from casting processes displaying furnace pouring to gear manufacturing.
General Overview
The 3D/2D Animator/Illustrator will be responsible for delivering high level illustrations and animations for our manufacturing course content. To accomplish this, the Animator/Illustrator will have to be able to collaborate with subject matter experts and writers to take complex concepts and create easy-to understand storyboards to use to produce animations. The Animator/Illustrator will be proficient in Adobe After Effects to create and animate 2D content. The Animator/Illustrator will also be proficient in 3Ds Max to create 3D models and full 3D animations.

Requirements
- Associate or Bachelors Degree and portfolio of 3D/2D work
- Proficient in 3Ds Max software, creating 3D models and animations
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects, creating 2D animations and doing post-production
- Proficient in all standard Adobe products, creating 2D illustrations
- Ability to work within our companys design guidelines and standards
- Creative thinker and willingness to push the boundaries of design
- Natural curiosity and willingness to learn
- Ability to illustrate concepts in storyboard format
- Detail oriented and organized
- A good team player
- Deadline oriented
