Hi Guys

I recently sculpted a high poly head and used polypaint to texture it in ZBrush and then retopologised it in max and unwrapped it.

So I currently have a high poly sculpt that contains a polypainted texture but with no UV co-ordinates and a low poly model which has UV co-ordinates but no texture map.

I was just wondering is there a way of projecting the texture information onto my low poly model in ZBrush?

Thanks

You can do that with xNormal, I believe. You can bake the vertex colors on the high poly model into a diffuse map.

I'll have to give a test out when i get home but I believe if the highpoly imports with vertex colors, you could plug a vertex color map into the diffuse of it's material and bake that out. Or use xNormal, like Warren said.

Thanks for the advice guys, I ended up using xNormal to bake the vertex colours.
Heres a progress thread of my workflow.
