Modo Indie 901 - Select-through broken?

Hey polycount folks, I just installed 901 indie via steam, and I'm noticing some odd behavior with the 'select through' preference. It seems that, with it enabled a few tools (at least the add edge loop tool, for me) seem to simply fail 100% of the time. It's almost like it can't find the proper edge to cut.

901 NON indie (tried the demo) and ModoIndie/801 both had this working properly...

Now, it's been a few months since I last did a preference setup in modo, so I'm likely simply missing a setting, but I can't remember any other settings that affected this sort of thing.

Anyone got any hints? Thanks!

I've never used that option but jumped in real quick to give it a go, and yeah it does seem to act really weird, but can't really say I know how it works.

On a side note, If you think its a bug, be sure to leave feedback on the steam forums regarding it.
