Hey everyone,
I'm having a problem with my layers. I'm trying to start my low poly model now, but when I try to select a piece the whole gun is selected inside the layer. Any suggestions so i can go back to selecting a single piece.
In my highpoly layer everything is working just fine.

And which version of Max? Looks like 2015 maybe... you can go to the Select menu and disable Select Children, which prevents clicking on the Layer from selecting all its contents.
Make sure to deselect the Layer (click an empty place in the viewport) to prevent it from selecting all its children.
