Quixel crashes on launch

Hey guys,
So I've been trawling through the posts but I can't seem to get an definite answer on my problem. I just installed Quixel Suite which I purchased, but when I go to launch it nothing happens. It will appear in the task manager for a bit but then nothing.

I am using Windows 7, have photoshop CS6 installed. I've installed the patch, tried running through administrators. I don't have any anti-virus/firewall blocking it. I also have the latest Java... is there anything else I need to do?

Really frustrating that I just bought a new piece of software and it doesn't even launch... not sure what to do...

got that as well. on windows 10. was happening as well on windows 7 , hence why i moved to windows 10. I haven't found anything about it anywhere but managed to fix it by re-installing quixel completely onto C:\Quixel\SUITE instead of the default path. But still again , yesterday morning it happened again , had to reinstall the suite. I have no idea whats causing this. Keep in mind that re-installing the Suite may not fix it. the first time i had to re-install it 6 times to finally get it to work.

Hey Sheree1989! What's your installation path for the Suite?

The default path: C:\Users\Public\Quixel\SUITE

Should I try installing to just C: ?

Actually I managed to get it to work! I was having issues with my 3DS Max crashing as well, and one of the solution was to update the .NET framework to the latest and that seemed to fix the crashing issues!

Try reinstalling in C: \Program Files\Quixel\SUITE and see if that solves the problem. If it doesn't, we'll take a closer look at it for you.
