Hey Polycount!

Our USC Games team, Pareidolia, is looking for 2D and 3D Artists to join our team!

We’re a game development team for the '14-'15 USC Advanced Games Program. AGP is a year long development program where large teams (20-30) work to develop highly polished game projects. These games are shown at USC Demo days where industry professionals from Sony, Blizzard, Riot, EA, and more conduct interviews and review portfolios. Games in the past also often present at GDC, Indiecade, and E3! In addition to the professional benefits of working on this project, we're forming a company for commercialization of the game as well. USC is only the beginning for Pareidolia!

What is Pareidolia?
Pareidolia is a 2D/3D puzzle platformer in development for PC and Second Screen. Players become a master puppeteer and manipulate props on a 3D stage (tablet) to cast platformable shadows in a 2D world (PC). Pareidolia delves into the forgotten world of international folklore and throughout the journey players will encounter one eyed Slavic witches, talking Celtic corpses, terrible Japanese demons, and much more! If you're interested in bringing a world of shadow to life then Pareidolia is for you!

Our team consists of students who have professional experience at places like Cartoon Network, EA, Activision, and much more, but we need awesome artists like you to elevate this game to new heights.

If you’re interested, send our Art Director, Chris Velez (pareidoliagame@gmail.com), a portfolio link, resume, and a short email regarding what position(s) you're interested in. An art test may be involved.
