Lead Artist - Gameloft Madrid

As an Art Lead you will be an exceptional artist with skills in both 2D and 3D. You have experience in mobile or casual games and are closely in touch with artistic trends.
Working under the supervision of the Studio Art Director and being a true generalist you will help maintain artistic direction for one or more products, ensuring a high standard of artistic quality is achieved while guiding the art team in their day to day creation.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for art creation on one or more projects
Review and provide feedback on art assets
Manage, schedule, monitor tasks given to artists
Guide and mentor art team, encourage ideas and creativity;
Suggest /propose creative ideas and solutions to art production challenges;
Work closely with Studio Art Director and Producers, reporting progress or issues and solutions;
Contribute to creating great art work for our games ( 2D and 3D )
Requirements:
+5 years of experience in video game production ( +2 of these in a Lead or Senior position)
High-level experience in Photoshop.
Experience in 3DS Max a plus.
Mastery of various 2D and 3D styles.
Ability to conceptualize characters and environments, and illustrate them into game contexts.
High-level knowledge of contemporary media (web, games, comics, film and animation).
Business level written and verbal English.
Spanish is a plus
