i've been struggling to find assets for a portfolio since companies just don't want me to show anything for whatever dumb reason they have. gameloft, however, has been kind enough to let me display the vehicles i made for their game, so that's pretty cool.

some details:

i needed to match the style and materials of their example assets, these fit pretty well i think. the triangle counts varied between 1000-2500 depending on asset and used 1024 diffuse, normal, and a single three-channel image containing grayscale spec and gloss maps.

my goal was to make sure that the materials read well from a distance due to the mobile screen size. big super obvious wear shapes and saturated tones with a good amount of contrast. the models needed to have nice big chunky shapes and edges so they could bake down well with such a low tricount and to ensure they read well from a distance.
