    Job Description
    nWay is currently looking for a talented World Builder/3d Environment artist to join our team to build engaging and visually compelling levels. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for entire levels from concept/block out to final polish, and everything in between (including lighting). Candidate should have an excellent eye for composition, creative world building, and ability to work within optimization guidelines and to respond professionally to feedback and art direction. Previous experience working with modular environments, implementation of VFX, and/or basic rigging for animated props is a plus. This position is based in our headquarters in downtown San Francisco.

    Responsibilities
    Working with concept artist and designers to create entire levels from concept/block out to final polish
    Candidate should have an excellent eye for composition, creative world building, ability to work within optimization guidelines and to respond professionally to feedback and art direction.
    Work quickly and competently in both 3d software (ideally Maya) and Unity.
    Participate in review sessions and provide constructive feedback.
    Maintain good communication with design and engineering teams to solve issues creatively and collaboratively.

    Requirements
    Demonstration of strong all-round art skills, ideally in both 2D and 3D
    5+ years extensive games industry art experience in shipping AAA titles.
    Console game development and / or mobile development.
    Solid understanding of popular games and their art direction
    Passion, energy and enthusiasm
    Pluses
    Previous experience working with modular environments, implementation of VFX, and/or basic rigging for animated props is a plus.
    Experience developing art for RPG games
    Avid gamer
    Experience creating and supporting tools used in game development
    Bi-Lingual in Korean and/or Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)

    Job Description
    nWay is currently looking for a dedicated and passionate Concept Artist to help work on our flagship game, ChronoBlade. This position will create fully realized concept art and orthographic projections of characters, props, and environments. You will work with designers, modelers, and animators to fully realize your designs and ideas, as well as create inspiring illustrations.

    Help us create a genre defining experience for mobile action RPGs in the US, Korean, and Chinese
    markets, on a wholly new scale for the industry. This position is based in our headquarters in downtown San Francisco.

    Responsibilities
    Create visual concepts and animation concepts in collaboration with other departments.
    Provide feedback and work co-operatively with animators and modelers.
    Participate in review sessions and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
    Create exceptional art work, contributing concepts and game-ready assets, including UI and promotional work.
    Maintain good communication with all teams to solve issues creatively and collaboratively.



    Requirements
    Demonstration of strong design and illustration skills, ideally in both digital and traditional media
    Console game development and / or mobile development.
    Ability to create production art assets
    Able to give effective critiques and also take feedback & criticism
    Solid understanding of popular games and their art direction
    Ability to understand and execute different design aesthetics, as well as communicate key thought processes in doing so
