I've been trying to make a bottle material for a level I'm making in Cryengine to learn, well, everything I possibly can and just have fun. This is my 3rd texture I've ever made, and well, I thought it would be easy, since it's just a bottle, but I can't get the alpha to make the bottle part semi-transparent, and the label opaque. I can get one or the other, so here is my PSD, maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, It's just a random prop so it doesnt have to look good, just like a bottle.

Should be simple, here is a link to my PSD for the material

ps im not a texture artist at all I model mostly so it's not great:P

Thank you a lot I know it's a lot to ask:P

Haven't dl your file, but you can do this by editing the alpha channel. Make the label white, make the glass a dirty almost-black. Then it's up to the shader to enable alpha blending.

btw... get dropbox. It's free and no hoops for people to jump thru to get your files.
