Add lightmap to mesh after import?

Hi
I've been playing around with UE4 and I relatively recently discovered lightmaps (new to engines) and I had already imported a lot of my assets. Is there a way to make a lightmap in Maya and attach it to the mesh already imported?
And is there a way to change the already assigned UV's for the textures?
