What are your favorite programs for the following? Mine are:

Modeling: Modo
Sculpting: Zbrush
Retopo: 3D Coat
Unwrapping: Modo
Rigging: Maya
Animating: Maya
Texturing: Substance Designer
Rendering: Marmoset Toolbag 2
Engine: Unreal 4
Plug-In: Meshfusion

I would have made a stawpoll or something for each of these, but I was afraid of missing some of the options and making someone mad. Plus it's more fun to see what combination of things people are using.

I might have a bit of a bias going here, I should give Modo ago at some point.

I find myself agreeing with Catzcratch, Robeomega, and Spiffy here, actually. Occasionally I like Substance Designer over Quixel, and if I need to projection-paint a mask or something I'll usually do it in Blender.

Modeling - Used to be Max, but haven't done anything in a while. I'm gonna have to switch to Modo, as while i can afford Max or Maya, i'm hesitant, since AD are going the Sub-only route. (like Adobe)
Sculpting - Zbrush, though its a bit of a pain to get into, might mix with Modo.
UVing - Used to be max, but soon will be Modo (apparently it's UVing system is very good)
Rigging/Aniimating - Max, though was never much of a rigger, Hopefully Modo's rigging system will be good enough, i know it's no where near maya's though.
Texturing - Used to be Photoshop, but now have Substance Designer and Painter.
Engine - UE4, though haven't played with it much.
Plugin - Meshfusion, when i get it, and any other scripts for Modo i can find.
Rendering - Used to be Mentalray, but now i've got Marmoset.

    Sculpting: Zbrush
    Retopo: Zbrush/Maya
    Unwrapping: Zbrush/Maya
    Rigging: I... don't do that
Animating: Maya, not that I do much of that either, mostly for exploding parts for bakes
Texturing: Photoshop for smaller assets, Mari 2.6 for stuff that require some more love
    Rendering: Marmoset Toolbag 2
    Engine: CryEngine
Plug-In: Can't think of any. Lots of useful scripts though...

    Fun thread. :)
