My 1st try on a terrorblade weapon.
Maybe you like it, it has only 1 Horn idk if it is a full skull or just a half of one.

i would thank u if u would treat my concepts with a little more respect. taking someone others art cutting/and overpainting it - i have no words for this. i know u wana have a sheet to draw on, but u can just make a screenshot ingame. just as one example.

Well, I asked you if you can give me ur treant sheet u didnt so I cuted your stuff out and used the part u dont painted over, so in fact I just use treant, there is nothing to see what you drew.

I respect your concepts but I have to cut 'em out or you would go even more wild if I would add my arms idea to your beard. :poly142:

Definitly Shorkgamer is right. We are not some kids who doesnt like sharing. You shouldnt be angry for this, you should have just post the concept sheet you worked on. And I think the reason you didnt post is because you wanted to make a lot of Treant items and didnt want anyone to race with you, such a child act!!

Well, exactly! It's not as if you can own the picture of a hero. I'm not defending anyone, because I agree that it may be lazy to just use the concept from another person and strip out the used parts, but it's not really hurting anyone if it's done.

Yea dat is pretty close I see it now but I wanted to make a fist out of this tentacles sry I dont know the english word for them it was just a rough idea tho nothing to be realy submited as a idea for a concept.

I dont use references.
I have no idea about my workflow I just produce the idea in my brain then I draw the shape then I do colours and details.
I want to get better and colabs.
I use a wacom tablet, I just press too hard I guess so it isnt very visible.

A few pointers: Lets take your mushroom treant for example. That isn't a concept, that's an idea. It's you going "Mushrooms grow on trees, lets make a mushroom treant" and drawing some mushrooms over a concept sheet of treant. Ideas as such are pretty much useless, because EVERYBODY has ideas. What sets a concept apart from an idea is that it's well thought out, well executed idea put on (digital) paper. A concept has gone through stages of revision and improvement, the artist behind it has thought about (if we stick with dota sets for arguments sake) how to take the theme of a set and make it WORK. They've considered how the set will look ingame, how it fits into the overall hero scheme, how it changes or doesn't change the silhouette, all these things. So far, all I see from you is you getting an idea and putting it down on paper as quick as possible without putting any thought behind it. Wanna do a mushroom set, sure, that's a good idea, but what matters is not the idea but the EXECUTION of that idea. I bet that if you were to give some of the more established concept artists here the pitch of "mushroom treant" they'd come back to you with a workable concept and a whole bunch of ideas on top.

Ok, let's break it down. Here's how developing a concept can go (disclaimer: everybody works differently, but bear with me for illustration purposes)

Idea: Mushroom treant -> Ok cool, what can we do with that? Mushrooms are a sign of decay, so probably an old, gnarly treant -> look up references of old gnarly trees -> cool, found some really nice shapes, skeletonlike fingers made from dead branches, parts of the bark falling off to reveal rotting wood, awesome -> ok the mushrooms, what if they were like boils are on humans, like they're pustules and signs of illness on the skin of treant -> look up references for deseased humans -> nice, so now we got an old, gnarly treant who's caught a mushroom infections and looks really fucking scary. Lets looks up some cool mushrooms that may give us more ideas -> etc. etc. etc.

You see, there's this whole process of REFINING an idea that leads to awesome, weell thought out concepts that WORK, and you just seem to stop right after the initial "mushroom treant" idea. Hope that helps.
