Hi ladies and gents! I've been stalking in this forum for a year. I think its time for me to create my own thread.

I'm sharing my works here to gain experience, ideas, to get better, and friends. I'm open for comments and critiques that's the purpose of this thread.

Hey Nice work here! You're doing well with sculpting parts really like the anatomy of your Titan. Great job I can't wait to see more stuff here! Maybe Mikasa next time, if I can suggest Kkk ... Keep going! =D

Hi! first of all thank you, you're the first one to notice my thread haha! though still working with the titan, exploring the anatomy, art direction and such. I will post my new update soon. Being a fan of AoT, i already set a moodboard for Mikasa but will see?

Superman is your strongest piece so far. Great head. Strong profile. But, the hair looks like spaghetti. I'm guessing that hair is super hard to work with in zbush. I'd suggest starting over with one piece of geometry and building it up from there. Here is a good tutorial for hair in zbrush. Great work!

Thanks jhoythottle for the criticism! yeah it looks awful. I've been trying to explore how to do the hair. I've tried fibermesh, insertbrushes, one piece geom to dynamesh, and etc.

I might consider to fix the hair though I've been spending on it to much.

Hi guys! Heres my wip sculpt for Dracula based from the concept of Ayami Kojima on the game Symphony of the night(ps1).

I'm trying to do a cinematic/vray render like in Igor Catto's work. Also will try to use/study marvelous designer for the cloth.

Hey there you have some nice works here especially your Superman bust. As for the Dracula character it's a good start. Is there any reason why his head is smaller than the rest of the body? Are you trying to get as close to the concept as much as possible? I did notice that the concept art of Dracula does have a small head compared to the rest of the body. Also the collar is clipping through the cloak, something to watch out for.

@Inhert Thanks man! Yes im trying to get as close to the concept to get that villain/heroic feel. I will fix the proportions and try to get around 9heads to see which is better. I'll try do with marvelous designer for the clothes.

Hi guys! I revisited my old work to fix some minor areas and redo the hair based on the critiques I'd received.
A quick color pass and still not sure with my hair sculpt though.

Superman's hair looks much nicer. Great piece. Also, really loving that grumpy kid. Is the female sculpt based on a real person? I'm really getting a Natalie Portman vibe from the face. The fingers and feet look a little inflated. Also, the neck might be a tad too thick.

@jhoythottle Thanks! glad you like it. I really need more patience and practice when sculpting hairs. You're right! Used Natalie for reference to hone my likeness sculpting. For the anatomy, I actually just search a bunch of female reference in pinterest and trying to aim for a not to sexy/curvy type of body. I'll take a note on the areas you provided, really appreciated.

So I decided to practice on making game props. (because I failed an art test

)
This was a study for PBR workflow, next-gen quality, and hard-surface/inorganic modelling.
Fist time on using substance painter- All I can say that it is a great tool!
Comment and critiques are much appreciated.
