Hey everyone. I've been viewing all the great work on this forum for a while, but have never actually posted anything myself. I hope to start by taking part in this competition.
Tomorrow I will sort out some paint-overs, just so I have something to get the ball rolling.

Apologies for the delay. I spent a bit of time trying to connect Dota 2 to the source filmaker so I could view and test the models correctly.

Got my thumbnails sorted. I've tried to keep a similar silhouette so the character is recognizable, while incorporating a mix between voodoo and aztec designs.

I like design 3 and the staff in design 1. I dig the rib cage shoulder armor.

staff 3 for sure, really digging that. I also like the idea of a wooden mask or something over his face.

Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated. I'm starting to block out the models at the moment, so I think design 3 will be the one I will mainly follow.

Finally posting an update to show you guys what I've been working on. I understand that alot of the higher details will not be visible on the in-game LOD (e.g. the runes on the calendar), but I figured I could use it for the beauty shots and higher res pictures.

Hmmm, I guess to give some advice here- I would say you might want to think about how that's going to be showing up at the distance you see it. What you've got going on right now might be a little too much :[

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the advice OrganizedChaos. As I mentioned in my post I was aware that the higher details probably wouldn't show up on the in-game version. I was thinking of just using it for detailed shots of the model. However I should probably just focus on how it will be seen in the game, rather than the details.

Posting a picture of my finished Zbrush sculpt. At the moment I'm finishing both LOD's of the Low poly. Then I'll move onto texturing.

Posting the final update to the model.
So, with the two week extension we were given, I decided to redo the witchdoctor's shoulder. I chose to sculpt the spine into the character to make it look like he had tried to implant it into his skin.
I also finished the texturing process and made the finished renders in "Marmoset."
