Hey all! Thought I might make a new thread for this environment.

Here is what I have at the moment.

My plan is to actually make this a pretty large environment with some varied settings the further in you get.

Also, the weirdest thing ever happened yesterday.
A friend showed me a picture of another winecellar someone had made, and the similarities were striking!
I just wanted to say that I've never seen that scene before, and I am not stealing his concept or anything like that.

Hope you like it! Cheers!

Hi, on my System it looks a bit too Dark/low Contrast.

It looks good, but lacks in Detail a bit( or i cant see it) ;)

Good work! yeah I also agree about the contrast Wiktor, maybe punch it up a little. You'd want to get some lanterns in there or something if they wanted to grab some wine during night-time ;)

Looks really good otherwise !

Your scene seems nicely done, but the jpeg compression makes it look blurry and loose all sharp details. I can only guess since you didn't post a higher quality jpeg till now.

Anyway it looks great so far

Thanks for the comments!

@ParoXum: Oh yeah, the jpeg compression is horrible on that picture! Uploading a new one now. Thanks!

@Paunescu.Daniel: There is rim lighting, but it's really subtle. I'm gonna try and bump it up a bit! Cheers!

Slightly updated version, with less compression:

Agree with everything that has been said.
And while I really love the look of it the textures and atmosphere is spot on

I tried to do a paintover of things I personally like, more pronounced shadows and highlights, brighter outside(windows) a bit more color, try and get some objects in that break the brown/golden look.

I also think it looks to empty, I know it's a wine cellar so there will be mostly... Wine but still in a few shots it's so open, that maybe even some foreground objects could help a ton.

Edit: Damn, should have used the latest images xD

Looks good, one thing i noticed where the decals in the roof the edges looks pretty unrealistic to me.

Very nice, it reminds me of that level in Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

@ S_ource: thanks! I agree about the decals. Gonna see if I can replace it with a better one.

@ xK1NGxOFxSKAx: The only things ive baked so far are the barrels and barrels pressers.

Thanks for the comments and feedback!

Looks like Oblivion imo, but like x10 better. Could use some clear focal points.

Great work try to establish a focal point. Try to see if you can incorporate anything other then wine barrels that would be in a wine cellar.

This looks great, definite reminder of Amnesia's Wine Cellar. You should reuse these assets and make a Custom Story for amnesia If you've got time I'd quite like to see wires or any asset breakdowns too.

Looking awesome Disting. Can I ask, is that parallax deformation/bump-offset on the floor? It looks so realistic.

Made a quick flythrough test.
Everything is still very WIP, such as the ceiling, walls and some props/FX.

Please lemme know what you think!

Cheers!
