Hi Polycount,

Thought i'd post this here, as I'm not yet confident enough to post my work on pimping n previews for some harsh crit; I will once my base mesh is finished; and I start sculpting!

I've made a base mesh body which I feel is adequate in proportion and been working on a face; but for some reason I look at it stumped; I feel as if it doesnt look human like at all.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Compare it to a picture of a face to see what's wrong. The upper lip/mustache area is far too tall, for one.
It's hard to tell until you build the dome of the head, otherwise, though.

I'd say finish the head, as a whole, then tweak proportions.

yeah this is totally off, no where near a real head. Its missing ears, a forehead, skull, neck and so on ;) you can always change and fix the proportions later on

One key element missing is the eye sockets, it's one big bulge as it is now.

Still building away,

The reason I posted was it just looked off - the reason being the area between nose and mouth was double it's required length, this has now been sorted and I'm currently modelling the eye sockets before moving on.

Thanks for solving the issue
