Hi all so im back
, Ok this time I am wondering if it will be too much to chamfer edges and use inset when making models for games. The reason i am doing this is that with the right combination of those two (chamfer+inset) I am able to use 1 Smooth group on whole assets (mesh) and it looks like almost super high poly yet it sits around 400 or 1200 tris tops. Well its entirely based on what sort of model i am making but for now its just, pillars and floor pieces.
So what you nice folks think of this mehtod.
Its just i dont have much time on hand to use Zbrush and make super awsome low poly high poly work flow
I am using just 1 texture and using this chamfer inset kinda gives cool result, but not sure if it will just kill the game
