Ive spent a while trying to make a 1024 seamless texture with hexagonal tiles in photoshop and its proving impossible for me. I shift created the tile so its not a weird and uneven size, i duped and snapped them all around a central tile a few times and moved them to a new 1024 window and cropped out a good looking section, i filter>offset it to check if it works and i get this when i stick it on a plane in max.
Did i screw up somewhere or am i missing a completely obvious step? Can anyone give me a quick rundown on how they would do this. I would appreciate any help.
