long time lurker, first time threader.

figured id post some stuff i doodle in my private projects. comments and crits are welcome!

here's a lighting study i started:


i also have been doing a lot of realistic stuff at work, so i wanted to
dip my feet into "hand painted" stuff at home - heres babies first wood
texture. so far i've only worked on the normals, the diffuse is just the groundwork for what im going to paint - soon to come!
im also capturing some process on this one - as ive discovered a pipeline for this that i really love!

its my take on yggdrasil from norse mythology.





this is just laying in composition and colors - feels a tad too dark right now, ill start working in some foundation and more details in the focal point soon though. and SCALES !!!!!

got tired of looking at concrete textures at work - decided to make some flowers at home with pretty colors! just a quick sketch really. might throw this into an engine so i can run around in them and frolic in a field of flowers!
