I'm looking for a program that records my screen while I play games. Any suggestions? I don't mind having to composite raw frames in premier either.

Well, If you have enough disk space : Fraps.
That's the best one for this purpose.

You can use Satxrip to merge/convert the video after in a compressed format (like mp4).

Fraps for games, Camtasia/Camstudio for desktop recording.

I would suggest dxtory or fraps. Both do a good job at recording games, but i prefer dxtory(itīs faster and you have a lot more options to choose from)

Thanks all, Fraps is working for now. Just capturing some BF3 images for reference.

Ben Apuna we have something similar at work actually for capturing Xbox360 footage of retail kits, I'll find out the name of ours it seems to work great not sure if it supports 1080p though. 720p for sure.
