Tha fuck! so many awesome stuff I missed while browsing these threads. Damn this one is excellent! Btw, I see its at almost 1800 tri's, is that acceptable? since the contest listed 1500, I tried to hug that as closely as possible, which didn't help the model as I look back to it now :s wish I had another day to tweak everything.

1800 will be fine. According to Bobo that's like the extreme limit and if it can be cut down then do your best.
This weapon is "sick". You know when you look at a selection of entries and you know which ones will win. Well I get that feeling with this weapon.

Yeah this would be my pick for sure. You really nailed the crow temple style I think.

Yeah there's some really awesome looking hammers, but even out of all those, this one stands out I think.

Fantastic job! You really hit some of those Crow Temple themes very well. My only crit would have been a bit more polish time on painting the diffuse and thicker claws for the base.
Love it! Your and JFletcher's submissions are my two favorites for hammer. Good luck

Thanks a ton everyone! I think i've just now properly recovered from this weekend. I slept for 12 hours on monday night, it was glorious.
Had such an awesome time crunching on this with you all! I really appreciate the encouragement and kind words. So much talent and passion on these boards, it makes me all warm and fuzzy.
Congrats to everyone that finished, and good show to everyone that took part!
*edit* Woot! post #500. Seems appropriate
