Just a quick menu screen i whipped up in an hour, this is just a quick prototype for a game i might be working on later on in the year (My game lol). The drawing of the woman isnt mine as it is just a prototype and she is just a stand in, the main character of the game will replace her, this was mainly to test the design, layout and color (or lackthereof haha)

you might want to be careful about the edges of these maps. The last two won't tile well because of the if you were to tile them you would get some hiccups ( for the bottom most one the bottom and right side will kill it, for the wood tile its all four sides. You want to make sure everything is seemless. But hey I dig the texture work on the cracked tiles and that hand anatomy study is a good one. Keep em coming : )

cheers man so with the textures i shouldnt have like half bricks or what not on the edges but rather the edge of a full brick? kind of like the left side of the stone texture?

Yeah, that way when you tile them they blend nicely and the seems are harder to distinguish. Still keep that variety in mind with the different sized bricks and cracks, but make sure the edges work. If you have half bricks on all sides it will work, if you have whole bricks on all sides it will work. Hope this helps, I know there's probably a better way to explain it.

nah mate that makes sense haha, i was just trying out the texture as a warm up before starting my assignment haha, if i were to do it again which im sure i would at one point i would do three different stones, then color variants of all of them and then piece them together, but thanks for that tiling tip. Definatly keep that in mind from now on, even with photo textures

Finished sculpting the viper bust, ended up taking it in a different direction... relatively happy with the result. onto the next...ended up having a tech issue, too low res in the face... will try to avoid this on the next one [IMG][/IMG]
