Hi everyone,
I plan on taking a stab at these weapons. Its rare you get a chance to do full concept to completion work that gets into a game at a big
studio. I hope to have some tight drawings up shortly. I plan on taking a stab at a few weapons. I figure at least two. I really enjoy
the site but mostly just watch. This challenge has me excited to get dirty. will post sketch's shortly

Hi all just got a concept to the stage I like. Still working on a few others. I wanted to get some feedback before I head off to zbrush.

here are the ruff's and the final concept piece. I think i will be working on one of the different styles for my next concept.

I felt my first axe was a fun but I wanted something more to actual start sculpting. seems i missed the feedback train. I am updating now and Will have one more variant on this axe but as a hammer. I have a few colors I am toying with figured i would upload them.

running out of time and behind many others. Dam day job!

Thanks, I really like that one as well. I will be altering it a little and doing it next for hammers. I am doing my blank for the axe when thats done I will set up the hammer.

Good work on the start of the sculpt. It's made a big leap from the 2d concepts.

Thanks for the comment. I wasn't happy with my first test so I reworked.

Almost done with the sculpt. Going to do some color tests then move to the low poly.

That is looking good, I am not sure how many of those little spikes you will be able to fit into the low poly though.

thanks for the comment. So far I have had a alot of fun and got to try out some new styles of working. Its been a very useful project.

I agree it will be tricky. I may have to modify the amount or go a little over since they did say that 1500 was not a hard stop but the ballpark. I will have to see what I am looking at when i start the low poly cage. It Should be tomorrow.

just finishing up on the textures wanted to set up a update. had to redo the cap to get under the poly count. Not use to working as low as this but it was very fun challenge.
