woodesh - could you render us an approximation of an Ipad screenshot? Just how the camera is positioned in relation to the characters etc. A bit of a level would be useful but not required. That'll help us judge better.

Snader - ignore alot of lighting and shaders etc it needs rebuilding, the camera rarely moves from that position. most of the models too really, mostly placeholders. but that is the angle in which the camera would be.

Heliocide, I'm not sure the context of what Woodesh is doing, but it's clear to me it's an assimilation of game references...for instance the purple truck is from Snuggle Truck, a mobile game...i don't recognize anything else, but I'm sure they are all from somewhere

and by that I mean it's some parody game that he created all the assets*

The references are far too obscure to be a parody. What's the point of a parody unless they're obvious. Also they're not references by the looks, they 1:1 the same. I expect it's possible to rip that asset from the project.

heliocide, you are correct about the temple. But the properties belong to frogames, you can purchase it from there website for 20 bucks. As I said its a placeholder for the actual temple. To expand on it the smuggletruck isn't a parody its a cameo, owlchemy labs have given me the permissions to create a 3d version of the truck. Enviro bear also makes an appearance and hopefully many more will be popping up before final release.

I did this a few weeks ago, and I want to add a city section, but I'm a bit lost on how to actually place the building. I don't want them just sitting on top of grass.

BTW I uploaded a pre-alpha build of Turbo Run if any one wants to try it. Its not much but you can at least drive around the track.

Delko: you could make the buildings have curbs around them? Like an extra ground polygon kinda thing, if that makes sense? Or make little city blocks that have a fence around them, like they're blocked off for the race?

I ended up dropping the toon edge but it's still kinda cool.

Hi Woodesh! So cool to see where some of my models are going! I actually came across this more or less by accident. If you are really planning to use them in the final product (if they are not placeholders) I can fix up the windmill for you. Looks like the engine can't handle 2 shaders on one object (the wings) I can split that up no problem so it looks like this http://0.s3.envato.com/files/18847658/preview.jpg.

hi omnione! your windmill is definately not a placeholder. I contacted you previously about freelance cos your Models are fab. sadly you are tied down. and yes if you could be a doll, it appears theres some issues with the mills opacity.

Sure M8! My update went up already. I separated the cloth from the beams of the wings cause it is on a different texture. So if you download the item again, you can now assign the right shaders to the right parts! Let me know if that works or if there are other issues.
