Sorry. This is not absolutely exact definition. I meant - an ancient pistol which can be a part of steampunk setting

There is nothing that screams out steam punk in this model. There's no flare or intricate design elements in your piece. Reference Dr. Grordbots in google images and you'll see what kinda stuff you're missing from your piece.

Yes, I want to make really steampunk gun, but it already will be the new topology, new mapping, new textures - absolutely new gun

Getting there; the yellwo metal would look better with some more wear and tear. Maybe a bit more copper coloured?

And yeah, intricate designs will help. And they aren't too difficult to make either. It will really make this pop!

Personally, I like your first gun better. The colours are very nice

the details you've added are a bit contradictory. Nothing on the revolver suggests it's powered by steam. It really just looks like a normal revolver quite honestly.

The idea of steam punk is to create like alternate type of technology. simply adding a gauge to modern technology doesnt make it steampunk.
