Just getting warmed up for my weapon. Man switching my brain from photoshop shortcuts to zbrush shortcuts is a challenge XD.

That skull looks really cooll makes me wonder what your weapon will look like if you keep the same level of quality

Progress update on my weapon. It was suggested that I turn it into a hammer so here is what it looks like now. Think meat tenderizer. Now its time to do the final
I'm a little worried about the teeth on the hitting side of the hammer pushing me over the Tri count limit but well see how it goes. I can always reduce the amount.

Very nice design, and cool progress! Your weapon look very nice so far, the skull work very well and match the DS universe.
I'm wondering if the skull area is not a bit "flat"? i mean, the whole hammer has the same "depth" ;i hope you understand what i try to tell you (not sure of my english sorry )

Nice progress so far man, I'm looking forward to seeing this finished. I'm not sure if this is what Vectorius was saying, but the part of the hammer that hits stuff needs to be a little wider to read as a hammer. Right now it seems a little more axe-like. Also, the handle needs to be extended to match the proportions of the proxy.

I feel like I phrased my critique in a not so good way, sorry if I sounded rude or arrogant. I probably shouldn't be saying that you "need" to change anything, since ultimately this is something you are making and probably the most important thing is that you think it looks cool. I still do feel like the proportions don't match the proxy though, but changing the handle isn't the only way to do that.

No no it's all good. From the side the pummel was a little too high up on the handle so I brought it down. I also I made the hammering side thicker and it actually does look better. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions . I'm currently working on the final sculpt for the bones elements on the head. It's gonna take a me some time O.o

Progress report. I'm "done" the bone/hard scale material on the head of the hammer. I think it might be too busy. What do you guys think? I think I'm gonna sit on it for a bit and move on to the metal left side of the hammer and then the muscle tissue.

the concept has the teth following the angle of the mouth sort of line, similar to the teeth on a kraken or other animal like that. I think that's what gave it alot of character and style, so unfortunately i'm not liking the way the current teeth are angled (big teeth on smashy bit, not teeth on the face )

Very interesting looking axe, part of it reminds of clayface and the other part reminds me of lord zedd from power rangers(...can't believe I remember that). Keep up the good work.

I'm definitely on board with the more pinkish flesh tones, but I'm not sure how I feel about the white. Remember, it's usually 3-4 main desaturated colors and one very saturated for the emissive.

#4 grabbed my attention more than once, but for darksiders' color pallet, I think #9 or 11 would fit in nicely.
mostly 9, even better if 9 had yellow eyes.

starting from 2:17 u get a good example of the colors that'll be working together. watch till end, I think a better example comes along.
