The idea for Deadskins sounds great. Taking an interesting spin on the Team Slayer gametype with an interesting theme and visual style. I'm KEEN to see where these go, and how the environments progress. Could definitely see some interesting prop and set pieces coming out of this.
Grim fate, just from looking at that initial art interests me. I'm picturing some really atmospheric whispy black particle effects as the player moves through the world and interacts with things. Good stuff.
As for Bullet Hell, just can't go wrong with Steampunk. Nice vehicle designs there. Make this for Android and iOs and I'll be sold day 1. Bullet hell shooters are fantastic brain melters.

This is a high poly model, rendered straight from zbrush, as you can see the blue jaw will later be transparent like a ghost effect. That will be done for the in game asset using an opacity map.

Hey fellow polycounters; feel free to critique any and all things in this thread. Lord knows we need it, haha.
A tree. For Grim Fate.
Pretty small on the screen, so this will certainly do the trick!
Just did a stupid texture for my benefit- in game they will be solid black silhouettes, if I'm not mistaken.
EDIT: Made a new tree, focusing on a curly sort of silhouette. I think it's much better without the smaller branches, &c.
I would love to hear any tips, though.

Some GrimFate lovin'.
Not done yet, but I like where it is going.
Almost all tiled textures, except for the stairs, and stained-glass.

Any comments for us? And Razorb, I'm with Grim Fate, not Deadskins, but we share a deadline. We have the rest of this school quarter to finish these, if I'm not mistaken. That amounts to about 9 weeks or so left of work. Boy is it coming up quick!

Joopson,
I am digging Grim Fate for sure. I like the art style and I can't wait to see what the gameplay looks like. I think we would all love to see some gameplay from all the games.
How come the bullet hell game hasn't been posting up work?
Are the games going to be available for download?
Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing what comes of these projects.

We'll start posting videos in the coming weeks.
Bullethell is a team of mainly programmers, and I suppose that has something to do with their absence. I think most of their art is only placeholder, but, I've seen it, and it is really quite fun looking, and cool, even as placeholders. The gameplay makes it shine. I do hope they post some stuff up soon. It's a game I can really imagine doing well on the ipad or iphone or something. Really solid classic arcade gameplay.
I think eventually we may host the installers on some Megaupload equivalent once we are finished. I'm not positive on that, but I don't see why we wouldn't.
Thanks for the comments!

Just about done with this, I think. Just going to add some ornamentation to the roof, and change the bright pink colour (after someone saying it was the same pink they used in their game to denote an object that's no longer used)
So yes.
EDIT: Calling this done, I think, unless the colour begs to be changed in the final composition.
