Yikes! Coming in a little late on this, but what are the holiday's for if not free time?

Decided I wanted to redesign the tank from the first movie a little. I gave it some more rounded shapes but at the same time tried to keep in mind simple geometry that was available to them in the first TRON.
Here's what I've got so far. Now I've just got to poly optimize it...

Have a look at the tank from Tron: Evolution, this looks very similar.

Well - Here's the final.
Crunch is crunch. I just didn't check the threads before I went on vaca. Oh well. Now I can finally open my AC: Brotherhood disc. yay.

Well, the in-game mockup left a little to be desired. But it was down to the wire - c'est la vie. I think the model was successful- I'm glad I spent the time working out the concept and shapes on paper first. When I went to texture it though I found it a little lacking with only the glow lines that I had planned so I started doing some quick paint overs of panels and other texture to help make it more interesting. Next time I will think more about that.
When I unwrapped I was concerned about texture scaling in relation to other components, but I discovered that with such a small texture map it really didn't matter and some stuff ended up a little too blurry for my liking.

This was fun. I think I will continue to do these while at work and try using Blender.

Crits welcome.
