I have a few more of these to post after work today, and I'll probably pick a couple to clean up for tonight.

I like the middle one, but I have been told it looks too much like a hammer from this perspective. Any opinions?

good luck man! i think mid is the best, and left would be close 2nd. have you seen this awesome vod by Avery? and then you should check out bobo's vod also. If you've already done your homework, then please forgive me.

Yeah, I've seen those and they are totally awesome! I'm really surprised that the Vigil guys have given so much support for the contest. I used that Maker Scythe from Avery's vid as a reference on the middle one (hope its not too noticable!). I've been following the contest since the start, but I've just taken my time getting involved.

I like the middle one too It might get the pretty treatment tonight!

So, unfortunately I am going to be unable to compete in the competition, due to some contractual conflicts .

BUT! Because this contest/community is so awesome and I will learn a lot from participating, I'm going to keep going on this project, just not to win. Good luck to all the entrants! There are so many amazing weapons so far, I can't wait to see the finalists!

Anyways, on a lighter note, here are some more roughs I snagged out of my sketchbook:

C+C are welcome and appreciated!

Now I think I'm going to do some more work on that middle axe from the top picture...
