Right then, here's something I was wondering about recently.
It's not really an issue I need a desperate fix on, just something that'd be interesting to learn, and to see how other people go about it.
I was reading the ZBrush interview with Ken Scott
, and this particular image was what jumped out at me:
Now, that's a screenshot from ZBrush, and there is an abundance of hard-edged, perfect 90-degree angled geometry and cylinders, pipes and stuff... judging by what he says in the interview, it sounds like Ken Scott does all of his work exclusively in Zbrush?
Just wondering what people think - I'd be tempted to say that the mechanical modelling there was done in an external app and imported into ZBrush, but then how was it all aligned and positioned correctly with the ZBrushed model? I'm having a hard time believing that the whole mesh there was made in ZBrush.
Anyone with any inside tips, enlightenment, or ideas?
