I'm modelling and texturing Umagon from Command and Conquer for the mod entitled C&C:Reborn. Right now she weighs in at about 1800 tris, max polycount is at 2000-2500 so i may add more detail. I'd like crits if at all possible. Thanks!

This is what she's supposed to look like.

Looks good!
I would make the polys where her kneecaps are a little bit bigger (taller) because then they will deform nicer when the knee bends. The same for the elbow polys at the back of the arm.
I am not sure what that small line of polys are around her waiste are for but to me it seems like you could remove those since they don't add anything.

for the amount of polys you have on her, she could have alot more shape to her. She is quite boxy and her stature is verrry stiff, she needs a bit more S-curve goin on, just look harder at female anatomy to really flesh her out.

Yeah she is boxy isn't she. All my female models tend to be on the boxy side. I think her arse needs to stick out a little more, give the spine more of a curve. I added the line around her waist to give the pants thickness and differentiation.

She a mutant created by Tiberium? If so I thought Westwood always did those mutant types with these odd green spores on their skin to reiterize (sp?) the fact that it was Tiberium that created the mutant. Just an idea. I'm a huge fan of the C&C universe.. lookin' forward to this when its complete.

Here's an update. Crits from myself: Hands not done, shoulders are too wide, pants need more detail, boots need to be textured still.

hehe, keep up the good work, I would suggest a long pant. Reborn maps are mostly desert and snow environment...

You need some more variation in your skin tone, if you look at your ref theres a lot of reds a oranges but all you seem to have is the yellows.

Man...the texture really adds to the model! But the knees look slightly odd: should that shadow be knife-edge straight at the top?

Thanks for the input. You both brought up good points and I will look into it right away. I was just looking at the knees today and I saw the exact same thing.

Anatomy disproportions - her arms are short.
Except that, the model is good.

So, after having the texture be corrupted and having to start over, here is an update on the model w/texture. I'm not happy with the tattoos so those'll probably be changed at some point. Any criticisms are welcome.

Posting the final product on Ramza's behalf. The model is going towards the Reborn mod.
